The Salisbury Connection

The Union High School-Salisbury Cathedral exchange programme provides a unique opportunity for boys and girls from Grade 7 to take part in an exchange scheme, hosting a learner from Salisbury for the first term of 2019 and spending the second term attending school at Salisbury.

Our connection with Salisbury Cathedral School remains strong and this year the learners selected as our Salisbury Exchange learners for 2019 are Matthew Davenport and Caytah-Leigh Koeberg. The 2019 GAP student is Jason Beaumont.

Jnr Cricket vs Gill Primary

On Tuesday our u13 cricket team played a T20 match against Gill Primary in Somerset East. We were asked to bowl first and struggled to hit our target, allowing Gill to reach 129 runs in 20 overs. Our batsmen replied with a disciplined run chase constantly rotating the strike and putting away the bad deliveries, helping us to reach our target with 4 overs to spare.
Union won by 7 wickets.
