Union High School was very fortunate to have many talented senior pianists participating in this yearโs Karoo #Eisteddfod.
All of them did very well and weโd like to congratulate the following learners on their excellent results:
โข ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ entered two pieces, ๐๐ข ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ด๐ฆ ๐ฅโ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ช๐ฆ by Yann Tiersen and the ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐ฏ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ ๐๐ข๐ฃ๐ข๐ญ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฐ, for which he received 70% and 84% respectively.
โข ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ entered four pieces, ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ง ๐๐ฐ.5 from ‘In Southern Seas’ by W Carrol (86%), ๐๐ข๐จ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐, ๐๐ฐ๐ 54, by L van Beethoven (84%), ๐ ๐๐ธ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ข ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ข๐ช๐ต๐ญ๐ช๐ฏ by R Michael (81%) and ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ฐ. 2 by B Liu Michael (80%).
โข ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป entered two pieces, ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ (๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฅ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ) and ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ด๐ด ๐๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ, for which she received 70% and 86% respectively.
โข ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ was awarded an exceptional 95% for her entry, ๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ข๐จ by S Joplin.
โข ๐ข๐๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ was awarded 70% for her entry ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ by H Mancini.
โข ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ณ๐๐ฒ๐ป entered two pieces, ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฅ by A Walker and ๐๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ ๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ด ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ ๐ฐ๐ถ by Yiruma for which she received 84% and 86% respectively.
โข ๐๐ต๐น๐ผ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ (absent on photo) entered ๐๐ช๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ช๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ by J Radnich and was rewarded with a splendid 96%.
โข ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ต๐ฎ (absent on photo) entered ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ข ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ, ๐.377 by D Scarlatti and received 86% for her efforts.
