The Union u/13A side set the tone for the weekend with two ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ performances.
On Friday, 26 September, Union piled on 149/3 thanks to a classy 55 from ๐๐ผ๐๐ต ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐๐ถ๐น๐น and an unbeaten 50 from ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐.
The bowlers then stole the show – none more so than ๐๐ฑ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐, who ripped through the Graeme batting order with a devastating spell of 6/11, which included a brilliant ๐ฉ๐ข๐ต-๐ต๐ณ๐ช๐ค๐ฌ!
Backed up by ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ (2/6), Graeme were skittled for just 24, giving Union a thumping 125-run victory.
The team carried that momentum into Saturdayโs clash, where they put up another strong total of 203/5.
๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป shone with a composed 55 not out, well supported by ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ (32) and ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐๐ถ๐น๐น (31).
With the ball, Phillips, Kingwill and Holmes once again did the damage, sharing six wickets between them. Graeme could only muster 90 in reply, handing Union a dominant 113-run win.

The u/11A boys had two ๐ต๐ฐ๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด against strong opposition.
On Friday, Graeme posted 160/7, despite a strong bowling effort from ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ธ (2/13), ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป (2/15) and ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฑ (2/28). Unionโs batting couldnโt match the effort, falling short by 104 runs.
The Saturday game saw Union dismissed for 49, with Graeme cruising to victory by 7 wickets. Still, Union celebrated wickets from ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ถ, ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฑ, who never stopped fighting.
U/11B vs Graeme College
Graeme scored 150/9, with Owami Kotishini taking 4/14. Union replied with 78 all out, Andre Putter top scoring with 34. Union lost by 72 runs.
Union batted first and posted 71 runs, with Simo Mcinga top-scoring with 24. Graeme chased down the target, losing 4 wickets in the process. Bhote Mussa impressed with the ball, taking 3 for 10, but Union went down by 6 wickets.

It was a weekend filled with ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ค๐ถ๐ณ๐ท๐ฆ๐ด and ๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ๐ด across all age groups. The u/13A side led by example, delivering two emphatic wins, while the u/11A and u/9A teams showed great fighting spirit against strong Graeme outfits.
From Holmesโ magical hat-trick to Sternโs composed half-century, the Union cricketers gave their supporters plenty to cheer about, making for a truly ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ค๐ณ๐ช๐ค๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ต.
