On Wednesday afternoon, 2 March, Unionโs ๐/๐ญ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ faced their Gill Primary School counterparts in a 20-over encounter on Unionโs Puttick Field.
Union lost the toss and bowled first.
Consistent pressure by Unionโs bowlers led to a few early wickets and resulted in Gill only managing to score 45 runs for seven wickets in their allotted twenty overs. Unionโs best bowler was ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ถ who took 5 wickets for 6 runs in his 4 overs.
Union then went in to bat. Opening batsmen ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ถ and ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ got the team off to a good start with a partnership of 25 runs. Union managed to pass Gillโs score in the 9th over.

Union won the game by 9 wickets.
