Well Done, Caitrin

Union High School, Graaff-Reinet is beaming with pride as it celebrates the exceptional achievement of Caitrin Spence, the Head Girl for 2023.

Caitrin’s outstanding performance in the recent matric exams has seen her being recognised as the 3rd highest achieving matriculant in the ECDoE’s Cluster B, which consists of the Amathole East, Amathole West, Buffalo City, Chris Hani West, Nelson Mandela and Sarah Baartman districts.

Her remarkable success was recognized and celebrated at a special awards ceremony held in East London on Friday afternoon, 19 January.

Caitrin has also been awarded the Rupert Achievement Award for being the 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖 in Graaff-Reinet for 2023.

The inspiring 2023 Head Girl of Union High School, Graaff-Reinet achieved an outstanding average of 92.63% and an impressive total of 9 subject distinctions in the recent NSC examinations.

Caitrin has exciting plans for her future. She will be commencing her studies at Stellenbosch University next week, pursuing a degree in B Com Actuarial Sciences.
