Level 1 First Aid Course

We would like to extend our gratitude to Mr Hugo Barendse of East Care for leading an exceptionally successful 2-day 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝟭 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 course at Union High School, Graaff-Reinet this past weekend.

His expertise and dedication were evident throughout the training, and the new prospective first aiders greatly benefited from his instruction.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝘁𝗼 Union High School, Graaff-Reinet’s newest First Aiders!

Brogan Koeberg, Nombulelo Ncombo, Jemae-Mari Davids, Viwe Ngxekisa, Lina Tadesse, Taegen Hamid, Ciara Kivedo, Milani Pongoma, Lolwethu Dayimani and Sarah Jacobs successfully completed their 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝟭 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘 in February, for which they were presented with a certificate during a recent school assembly.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭’𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯’𝘴 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘢 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴.

Junior Tennis vs LVS

Earlier this afternoon, the Top 6 junior boys and girls of Union High School, Graaff-Reinet and Laer Volkskool converged for an exciting afternoon of tennis.

In a very close finish, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨’ 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 with a score of 5-4 against their Volkskool counterparts.

On the boys’ side, despite a valiant effort, the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 with a score of 7-2 against Volkskool.

𝗔 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 for making this afternoon fixture an enjoyable and competitive experience for all involved.
