On Monday, 13 February, the Union High School, Graaff-Reinet ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ โ consisting of Brigette Oelofsen, Caitrin Spence and Musa Zweni โ enjoyed a wonderful afternoon competing against Gill College.
๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ก๐ค๐ค๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ก๐ช๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐โ๐จ ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ.
Both teams were very well prepared and arguments both for and against were convincing. The Union team narrowly won the debate with a compelling performance. In addition, four speakers delivered highly entertaining impromptu speeches.
