Congratulations to đđśđđź đŚđźđŻđŽđťđđ (Grade 8 ), đ§đŽđ˛đ´đ˛đť đđŽđşđśđą (Grade 9), đđżđśđť đđ˛đąđđšđ (Grade 10), and đđźđ đ đ˛đżđśđłđśđ˛đšđą (Grade 11) on their successful participation in the 2023 SASMT Annual Music Competition.
On Friday, 18 August, Liso, Taegen and Erin participated in the High School Music Grade 5 to 7 categories. Liso performed “Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor, WoO 59” (also known as “FĂźr Elise”) by L. van Beethoven. Taegen played “Andante” from “Pieces de clavecin, Op. 1” by J.H. Fiocco, and Erin showcased her talent with “Allegro” from “Sonatina in C major, Op. 20” by F. Kuhlau. đđł đđłđŻđ˘ đđđ°đŚđľđŚ đŤđśđĽđ¨đŚđĽ đľđŠđŚđ´đŚ đľđŠđłđŚđŚ đąđŞđ˘đŻđŞđ´đľđ´.
Joy, on the other hand, participated on Saturday, 19 August, in the High School Music Grade 8 and up category, where she performed “Liebenstraum Nocture No. 3 in Ab major” by F. Liszt. đđŠđŚ đ˘đĽđŤđśđĽđŞđ¤đ˘đľđ°đł đ§đ°đł đŠđŚđł đąđŚđłđ§đ°đłđŽđ˘đŻđ¤đŚ đ¸đ˘đ´ đđł đđ°đŁđśđ´ đđśđşđ´.
This musical weekend has enriched the experience and deepened the understanding of music for all four students.
