On Tuesday morning, 26 August, Union High School’s Grade 7s pulled out all the stops to host their much-anticipated 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 – and what a hit it was!
As part of their 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦 curriculum, our young entrepreneurs took charge of everything – from advertising and marketing their stalls, to budgeting and tallying profits and losses.
The result? A buzzing open-market atmosphere filled with excited shoppers, delicious food and drinks, creative crafts, fun toys, novelty goodies and plenty of entertainment – 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹, 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵-𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘇𝗼𝗼!
