We are very proud ofย Union High Schoolย learners ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ, ๐๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฒ and ๐ก๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐ต๐ฎ for representing the Eastern Cape at the Mzantsi Inter-Provincial Youth Chess Championships.
Gerda and Jasmine competed in the u16 Girls category, with Jasmine helping her team achieve a fourth-place finish, while Nina represented the province in the u20 team event (earning a third-place finish) and also competed in the u18 individual category.
