On Thursday, 22 February, a group of Union High School, Graaff-Reinet Grade 12 learners, accompanied by Mrs Bronwen Langmead and Mrs Tess Neill, had the privilege of attending a panel discussion led by Professor Jonathan Jansen at the ‘๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ’ ๐ฒ๐ ๐ต๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป held at the Feathermarket Centre in Gqeberha.

Professor Jansen’s engaging and humorous presentation left the learners with thought-provoking reflections. ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐ข๐๐ก๐, the value of academic achievements, the significance of giving their best efforts, the importance of passion for their work, readiness to adapt their careers and the essence of showing vitality in their pursuits, rather than being stagnant.
Following the panel discussion, the floor was opened for questions, where Sarah Wilmot and Na’eem Mahomed raised insightful queries.
