Representing your school is always a major honour, but reaching the milestone of 50 first team caps is something that does not come around too often.
Five members of the Union High School, Graaff-Reinet 1st hockey team received the incredible honour of taking the field in their 50th match for their school!
Prior to their encounter against Framesby this afternoon, Friday, 10 May, ๐๐บ๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐, ๐ง๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ, ๐ง๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐, ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ต ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ and ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ ๐ก๐ฒ๐ถ๐น๐น were presented with their official 50 cap certificate as well as a small gift on behalf of the team in which they have so valiantly served for the past two years.
Amy, Tara, Tyra, Aaminah and Kenza have been true ambassadors of the 1st XI and we could not be prouder of them.
