This award, which includes a generous cash prize towards her tertiary studies, is a fitting tribute to Erinโs exceptional academic journey at Union High School, Graaff-Reinet.

Erinโs results speak volumes.
With a final average of 87%, she achieved distinctions across a wide range of subjects, including Accounting (93%), Life Sciences (93%), Afrikaans FAL (87%), English HL (86%), Physical Sciences (81%), Life Orientation (89%) and Mathematics (80%). She further challenged herself by completing Further Studies Mathematics, achieving a commendable 72%.
๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ผ๐บ, Erin embraced school life fully. Her leadership and service are evident through her involvement as a Prefect, Mentor, Mathematics Tutor, Media Team member and Blood Peer Promoter, as well as her long-standing commitment to the RCL, Interact (serving as Treasurer and later Secretary) and First Aid, where she held the role of Head in both 2024 and 2025.

Erin was also invited to the AAD based on her top Physics performance in Grade 11 in the Sarah Baartman District.
Erin, ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ด๐ต๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ and sister to Old Unionite Ethan Gedult, has accepted her final offer to study MBChB at Stellenbosch University in 2026.
