Union High School’s annual 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 held on Friday evening, 9 October, celebrated the achievements of our senior learners throughout 2026.

The evening was a wonderful mix of music, reflection and recognition.

Our senior choir treated us to a beautiful rendition of 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴, while Taegen Hamid’s piano performance of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭 and a piano duet by Mrs Brink and Mrs Beldon added to the occasion.

We also enjoyed addresses by our SGB Chairman, Mr Kelvin Kayster, and Headmaster, Mr William Pringle, and were pleased to welcome 𝗠𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 as our special guest.

𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵, 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦.

It was lovely to see so many young people acknowledged for the effort, commitment and enthusiasm they have shown throughout the year.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱, with the induction of our Head and Deputy Prefects for 2027 and a vote of thanks from our outgoing Head Prefects, Misha Newton and Liso Booi.
