Monday, 19 January, saw the Union Schools’ annual ๐๐จ๐ก๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฌ for Grade 1 to 7 learners being held.
The year-long rivalry between Arnott House (in blue) and Daly House (in red) was kicked off in fine style, as the young athletes gave it their all in various track and field events.
There were many proud moments and shared joy throughout the day, as the learners cheered on their classmates and showcased their athletic abilities.
๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ are in order for Arnott House, who clinched the victory with an impressive 1450 points, compared to Daly’s 1063 points.

She joins us with a wealth of experience, having previously served as matron of a boarding house at a private school in Bedford.
Samantha and her husband, Fanie, are proud parents to two children – Joshua, 10, who is in Grade 5, and Emily, 13, in Grade 8.

She further challenged herself by completing Further Studies Mathematics, achieving a commendable 72%.

The team responded in outstanding fashion in their final match against Muir, producing a dominant all-round performance. Muir were restricted to 46/7 through tight, controlled bowling, before Union chased down the target with confidence and intent.
