It is with great pleasure that we formally introduce 𝗠𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗯𝘀 as the Union Schools’ new Estate Manager.
A proud Old Unionite, Class of 1992, Mr Jacobs’ connection to the school runs deep. His son, Matthew, is currently in Grade 7 and his daughter, Sarah, matriculated last year – 𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘣𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺’𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺. We are delighted to welcome him back to campus in this important role.
Mr Jacobs brings with him valuable experience as a production manager, along with extensive expertise in construction – skills that are exceptionally well suited to the dynamic and multifaceted nature of estate management at a busy school.
𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 – a fitting and symbolic start to a position that helps lay the groundwork for so much of school life. We look forward to the energy, knowledge and dedication he will bring to the role and we are excited to have him as part of the Union team once again.
