Welcome, Miss Lizé-Mari Koegelenberg

We are delighted to welcome 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘇é-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗞𝗼𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 to Union High School as she joins our Intermediate Phase teaching team.

Stepping into the role following the retirement of Mrs Yvette Cloete, we are grateful to have such a passionate young educator continue the important work within this space.

A recent Bachelor of Education graduate from UNISA, specialising in Intermediate Phase Teaching, 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗞𝗼𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀, with a particular strength in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Beyond the classroom, her experience in coaching and instructional environments has strengthened her ability to motivate, instil discipline and build meaningful relationships with learners. 𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘥.

Alongside her professional strengths, Miss Koegelenberg brings a warm, engaging – and truly sparkling – personality, which is sure to make a meaningful impact within our school community.

Originally from Cradock, she has recently relocated to Graaff-Reinet and is excited to become part of the Union family. She will be teaching Grade 6 and 7 Mathematics, as well as Grade 7 Natural Sciences, where her enthusiasm for these subjects is sure to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in her classroom.
