Union High School, Graaff-Reinet learners 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝘂𝗹𝗮, 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 and 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘀 recently had the opportunity to represent the Sarah Baartman District at the provincial speech competition in Qonce, hosted by the Department of Water and Sanitation.
𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳-𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘥.
𝗔 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲, who was selected as one of just six speakers to represent the Eastern Cape at the national competition.
He will travel to Johannesburg at the end of October for the 3-day event, where he will compete alongside learners from across the country.
𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘈𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘰𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭.
