On Monday eveing, 31 August, we revived our annual ๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐ง๐ฆ’ ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ in the Tony Burrell Union, with our young Union Preparatory School and Union High School chess players taking on parents, family friends, coaches and teachers across the chessboards.
๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฎ ๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น๐, ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด – a chance for our chess players to share something they enjoy with the grown-ups in their lives, followed by a warm bowl of soup and good conversation.
