Congratulations to our talented senior music students, ๐๐ถ๐๐ผ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ (Grade 9) and ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ (Grade 12), for their outstanding performances in the 2024 SASMT Annual Music Competition held in Gqeberha this past weekend.
Liso showcased his skills on Friday, August 23, competing in the High School Music Grade 4 – 6 categories with a captivating rendition of “๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ข” by A. Scarlatti.
On Saturday, August 24, Joy took the stage in the High School Music Grade 7 and up category, impressing the audience with her performance of “๐๐ข ๐๐ญ๐ถ๐ด ๐๐ถ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ” by C. Debussy. Both learners were evaluated by the esteemed Dr. Mariechen Meyer, a dedicated professional double bassist.
