On Saturday, 30 January, Union High School’s u15A cricket team delivered a composed performance against their Hoรซr Volkskool Graaff-Reinet counterparts, securing a 110-run victory.
After winning the toss, Union elected to bat first and built a competitive total of 159 runs, with ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ leading the way with a top score of 29. The boys showed great determination at the crease, working patiently and supporting one another to set a strong foundation for the match.
Defending their total, Unionโs bowlers produced a dominant display. ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ ๐ ๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ was outstanding, delivering a superb spell of 6 overs, including 2 maidens and claiming 3 wickets for just 8 runs.

Together, the bowling attack dismantled the Volkskool batting lineup and sealed a comprehensive win.
