Union High School’s 1st XI delivered a strong all-round performance against Cradock High School on Saturday, 30 January, after winning the toss and choosing to bat.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฏ๐ฑ๐ฐ in 50 overs, built around a fine unbeaten 136 from ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐. Captain ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ added a composed 91, while ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐๐บ ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฏ๐โ quick 63 helped Union finish their innings on a positive note.
In reply, Cradock found it tough against a disciplined Union bowling attack and were bowled out for 47. ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ impressed with 5 wickets and Yaaseen Kazi followed up his batting with a tidy spell of 5 for 18. It was a rewarding team effort and a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
