𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to all our Union swimmers who participated in the recent SSA 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝟭 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗔, held at Newton Park Swimming Pool in Gqeberha.
Union delivered an outstanding performance on the day, finishing tied in 1st place overall.
Among the standout results, 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 claimed 1st place in the Girls 12 50m Butterfly, 1st place in the Girls 13 & Under 100m Backstroke and 1st place in the Girls 13 & Under 100m Freestyle, while also finishing 2nd in the Girls 13 & Under 100m Breaststroke and 3rd in the Girls 12 50m Breaststroke.
𝗖𝗮𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗼𝗻 (absent on the photo) produced a brilliant set of results, finishing 1st in the Boys 13 50m Butterfly, 1st in the Boys 13 & Under 100m Freestyle, and 1st in the Boys 13 50m Backstroke. He also placed 2nd in the Boys 13 50m Breaststroke and Boys 13 50m Freestyle and 3rd in the Boys 13 & Under 100m Breaststroke.
𝗘𝘀𝗲𝘁𝗵𝘂 𝗠𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮 swam strongly throughout, earning 1st place in the Girls 17-19 50m Butterfly and 1st place in the Girls 14-19 100m Breaststroke. She also placed 2nd in the Girls 14-19 100m Freestyle, and 3rd in the Girls 17-19 50m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle.
𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 put in a commendable performance, finishing 3rd in the Girls 13 & Under 100m Backstroke and 3rd in the Girls 13 & Under 100m Breaststroke.
Well done too to 𝗨𝘇𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲, who competed with determination across his events and contributed valuable points to the Union total.
