Our Union High School u/13A cricket boys are gearing up for an exciting tour to Knysna this Friday!
Thanks to the wonderful generosity of ๐ข๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ-๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐, the team will be looking extra smart in their brand-new warm-up tops.

Union High School’s annual Primary Department ๐ ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ก๐๐ก๐ was held earlier this evening, and this yearโs theme – ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ช๐ค ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ช๐ด๐ฏ๐ฆ๐บ – brought an extra sprinkle of magic to the stage!
From toe-tapping numbers to heart-tugging ballads, every performance captured the spirit of the movies we all know and love.
A huge ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ goes to our ever-dedicated music teacher, ๐ ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ธ, whose hard work and passion for music shone through in every performance tonight.
We are also deeply grateful to Union moms ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ and ๐๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ, who transformed our hall into a space fit for Disney magic with their beautiful dรฉcor touches.
Today marked another step closer to saying goodbye to our ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, as we captured their official matric photo.
With the countdown to Valedictory already well underway, weโre cherishing these last few days of Term 3 – ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ง๐ถ๐ญ ๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฎ 4 – before they begin their final examinations.
๐ ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฅ ๐๐ฏ๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฅ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฆ๐ดโฆ Our ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ has now been officially welcomed into the Old Unionite Association, marking both the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a lifelong bond with the Union family.
In light of ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ (coming up this Sunday, 5 October), our Union High School prefects turned into cookie-carrying superheroes today!
๐๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ด๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ต๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ต๐ด ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ด๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ด, they made their way around the school, surprising our incredible teachers with cookies made especially for them!
A small gesture to say a ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ to the educators who inspire, guide and shape the future every single day.
With this year’s ๐ข๐๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ adventure having come to an end, we reflect with gratitude on what a true privilege it has been for our learners to experience nights like these – beneath the breathtaking Karoo sky, with its endless stars, moonlight and the stillness of nature.

After days of challenge, laughter, growth and adventure our Grade 10s returned to campus today to a true heroโs welcome.
