𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to Grade 6 learner 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 (Union’s top-seeded junior girls’ tennis player) who, alongside her u/12 team, emerged victorious at the Synergy Cup, a prestigious interprovincial tournament held in Cape Town over the last few days.
𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.
They secured an impressive win against the Boland Cavaliers with a score of 60-36, defeated Cape Town (Western Province) with a score of 54-42, and dominated the Northern Cape team with a score of 69-27, ultimately clinching the championship title.
