1St XVI MATCH REPORT
On Saturday 27 April 2024 Union’s 1st XV played against Muir College in our annual derby day. Union playing with the wind in the first half looked good on attack but could not get any points on the scoreboard in the first half. Muir however scored two tries just before half-time, taking the lead by 0-12.
What made matters even worse for Union is that they then had to play into a strong wind in the second half. Muir got off to a flying start by scoring within the first minutes of the second half. Poor defence from the Union side led to Muir College scoring more tries. Union lost the game by 7-45.
