Fourteen junior and senior chess players from Union High School, Graaff-Reinet are representing their school with pride at the 2024 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 being held in Jeffrey’s Bay this weekend.
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘩 𝘉𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯.
The Union team is composed of some of the school’s top chess talent, spanning both junior and senior grades.
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.
