Union High School kicked off the school swimming season at the first ๐ ๐๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ, held at Newton Park Pool in Gqeberha this past Saturday, 25 October.
๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ผ:
โข ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป who claimed 1st place in the 50m Backstroke and finishing in the Top 6 in all her events.
โข ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐น๐ฎ impressed with 2nd places in both the 50m Fly and 50m Backstroke, plus a 3rd in the 100m Breaststroke.
โข ๐ญ๐ผรซ ๐ ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ earned a 3rd place in the 50m Breaststroke and turned in solid performances across her other races too.
โข ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ stood out with a 2nd place in the Girls 50m Backstroke and several strong Top 10 finishes.
โข ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐พ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ-๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ฎ showed great promise with strong swims and Top 10 results.
โข ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ made fantastic progress, dropping a huge 7.69 seconds in her 50m Backstroke and 9.81 seconds in her 100m Freestyle – an incredible reward for her hard work and dedication!
โข ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ proudly represented Union in her first-ever B Age Gala, gaining valuable experience and showing great determination throughout the day.
