Our senior and junior U13A hockey teams enjoyed a busy weekend of fixtures against Framesby and St Dominic’s Priory.
Friday, 15 May
Well done to our ๐จ๐ญ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ, who opened the weekend of hockey with a good, hard-fought match against Framesbyโs U14A side this afternoon. After leading for much of the game, a late comeback from Framesby saw the match end 4-3 in their favour. ๐ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐ง๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ต ๐ง๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ช๐ณ๐ญ๐ด ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ข ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ท๐ฆ ๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ณ๐ต ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ.
It was a positive outing overall, highlighted by ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ณ-๐ฌ ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ against St Dominic’s Priory, while the U16A side added another solid result with a 2 – 0 victory and the U14As recorded a 5 – 0 win against St Dominic’s.
The U16B girls drew 2 – 2 against Framesbyโs U16C team and although the U16C side went down 4 – 0 to Framesbyโs U16B team, their effort and commitment throughout the match did not go unnoticed.
Saturday, 16 May
The First Team continued their excellent form with an exciting 5 โ 3 win over Framesby in a high-tempo contest, showing great attacking intent and resilience throughout the match.
The Second Team also delivered a strong performance to claim a 3 โ 1 victory, rounding off a successful day for the senior teams.
The U16A and U16B teams faced tough opposition and suffered defeats, losing 6 โ 0 and 7 โ0 respectively. The U16C team responded brilliantly with a determined 2 โ 0 victory, showing great character and teamwork.
The U14A side encountered a very strong Framesby team and went down 7โ0.
