Tonight saw the annual 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗦 competition, with teams from our preparatory school, primary department, high school and even a matric team, all taking their places across the chessboards.
𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀, who claimed the overall honours with a 20.5 – 12.5 victory.
We are incredibly proud of our bright young minds, whose patience and thoughtful play were on display throughout the evening.
