Junior Rugby vs Kirkwood – Results

A successful afternoon of rugby for our junior teams against Kirkwood Primary School, with both sides producing strong performances filled with determination and teamwork.

U/11A secured a hard-fought 12 โ€“ 7 victory in a closely contested encounter, showing great resilience and discipline throughout the match.

U/13A delivered an exciting attacking performance to claim a well-deserved 33 โ€“ 22 win, with the boys displaying excellent skill, support play, and character.

Senior Rugby vs Asherville – Results

Union High School’s senior rugby sides took on Asherville Secondary School on Saturday, 16 May, delivering a strong set of performances across all age groups.

The ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฐ๐—”s set the tone with a 75-7 win, followed by a confident 53-0 result from the ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ๐—”s. The ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฒ๐—”s added another solid victory, winning 29-10, while the ๐Ÿฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ secured a 22-7 result.

The ๐Ÿญ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ rounded off the day in fine style with a 52-3 win.

We are incredibly proud of her and wish her all the very best as she competes at the national tournament in Johannesburg from 27 June to 1 July.

Union High School’s senior rugby teams faced Spandau Secondary School on Thursday afternoon, 15 May, with our boys putting together a pleasing set of results across the age groups.

The ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฐ๐—”๐˜€ recorded a 51-0 win, while the ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฑ๐—”๐˜€ followed with an 8-0 result and the ๐—จ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฒ๐—”๐˜€ secured a 32-7 victory. The ๐Ÿฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ added a 43-10 win and the ๐Ÿญ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ซ๐—ฉ closed the afternoon with a 57-6 result.
