Earlier this afternoon, Union High School, Graaff-Reinet’s Grade 12s were pleasantly surprised by members of the local Dutch Reformed Church.
Shortly before leaving the hall, having just finished their first Afrikaans paper of the 2023 trial exams, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨, accompanied by a colourful card containing a motivational message.
𝘈𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘰𝘯.
