1st Team vs Dale College (50 Overs)
One of the highlights of the past few weeks came during the Cape Schools’ Cricket Festival, where Union’s 1st XI recorded a particularly memorable victory over Dale College.
Union posted an imposing 367 all out in 49.5 overs, with Jaco de Klerk leading the charge with a wonderful 67 off just 34 balls. Nathaneal Phillips added a valuable 42 runs to the total.
The bowlers then took over, with Richard Murray claiming 5/48 and Yaaseen Kazi returning figures of 5/33 as Dale College were dismissed for 115.
The result was a ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ-๐ฟ๐๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐.
